What ages do you enrol?

We are licensed for 3-5 year olds.

Does my child need to be toilet trained?

Yes, children must  be fully toilet trained. No nappies or pull ups, children must wear underpants (please pack spare underpants and clothes in case of accidents).

Are you a community based pre school?

No, we are a privately owned pre school.

Do you close for school terms?

No, we remain open.  We only close for 4 weeks over December and January. 

Do you have an After School Care Service or can  I collect my child after 4.00p.m?

No. Children must be collected by 4.00p.m due to our licensing requirements. Late fines are implemented if children are collected after 4.00p.m.

What do I need to provide for my child?

•  A healthy morning tea (fruit, yogurt, crackers, sultanas etc)  and a healthy packed lunch (some lunch example are; sandwiches, wraps, bread rolls, sushi, noodles ,rice, pasta, rice cakes). We are a nut and egg aware pre school, so please NO nut and egg products (these include, NO; boiled eggs, fried rice with eggs, scrambled eggs, french toast, nut trail mixes, Nutella products, Bueno products, Ferrero Rocher chocolates). We also discourage popcorn and marshmallows as they can be easily choked on. 
• Hat with adequate coverage ( we recommend a legionnaires style).
• Labelled drink  bottle (water only please). We fill up empty drink bottles throughout the day.

NB: Please label all items with your child’s name.

When are fees due?

The first week of every 4 week payment cycle.

What happens if my child’s preschool day falls on a public holiday?

Full fees still apply.

What happens if my child is sick?

Please inform the pre school your child will be absent. Children can only return if they are symptom free.

If your child becomes ill whilst at preschool, we will contact you immediately. Please note that all educators hold current 1^st Aid certificates and training in Anaphylaxis and Asthma management. Full fees still apply for sick days.

What happens if my child needs medication?

If you require your child to have medication whilst at the centre the educators are able to administer medication. All medication must be prescribed by a doctor. We do not administer over the counter medications such as Panadol unless it is accompanied by a doctor’s letter. A medication form will need to be completed for the medication to be administered.

Please note that if your child is taking antibiotics, they cannot be at pre school for the first 24 hours of being on medication.

What happens if my child needs to come in later than 8:45?

We ask that all children are at preschool by 9:30 am to make the most of learning opportunities. We understand there occasionally might be special circumstances preventing this and ask that you let our staff know in advance if your child will be arriving after 9:30 am.

Dress Code

• Casual, comfortable clothes that provide protection from weather and play
• enclosed shoes (no thongs or gumboots)
• no singlets (due to sun safety)
• hat
• jacket or jumper in colder months
